"'Still' is my first venture as an artist. Having played on the biggest stages in the world with some of the most incredible artists, I’m so inspired to now explore my own artistry," Simone told Billboard.
The artist -- who also sings and writes music -- began playing classical piano at age 3. Yet, it was a trip to see Carlos Santana as a preteen that inspired Simone to set her sights on the guitar and the main stage. In "Still," Simone passionately plays her own vibrantly painted guitar while appearing in a number of divinely arranged vignettes: She poses in a tub of flowers in one scene, roses adorn her ringlet curls in the next, followed by a moment of the artist cloaked in gray satin.

Simone further revealed how ecstatic she was to debut this side of herself as a performer. "I feel like I’m starting to come into myself. This video is a snapshot of where I’m at and I’m beyond excited to share my heart with the world!"
The video for "Still" clocks in at nearly two and a half minutes -- making it just long enough to show off Simone’s skills while leaving viewers to desire more. At one point, Simone dives underwater while playing the guitar and proves that a rock star will shine in any setting possible.
