A$AP Mob delivered Vol. 3 to their anticipated AWGE DVD on Monday (July 23). As part of the film, A$AP Rockyand Tyler, the Creator connected for a new track while in Paris. "Potato Salad" finds the fashion icons rhyming over Monica's 2003 "Knock Knock," which was co-produced by Missy Elliott and Kanye West.
The Golf Wang CEO later tweeted that he was actually trying to rap on "Knock Knock" for for ten years. Tyler begins with an extended opening verse on the lawn in front of the famed Eiffel Tower. He recognizes the habit artists have of turning their early checks into icy jewelry.
"N---a we get dollars, give 'em to Ben Baller/Exchange for them chains that's all shiny with thick water/I got back pains, neck heavy like whipped cream/My whip clean, and they all white, I whip cream," Tyler rhymes.

Jaden Smith also makes a cameo in the visual as Rocky takes the baton to carry the track. Flacko gives his take on the state of hip-hop and mumble rappers thriving in the culture. "Then I think about the state of rapping/All the freshman in the classes/All the super seniors mumblin' and ramblin'/Mumblin and rappin'/Mumble rapping?/I find it hard to find actual talent," the Harlem native questions.
The "Potato Salad" visual comes to a close by teasing a possible upcoming joint project between Rocky and Tyler. "WANG$AP Coming Soon," reads across the screen. After fans were sent into a sudden frenzy, Tyler made sure to halt everyone's hysteria as he didn't even know what A$AP was referencing. "I'ma kill rocky for that idk whats coming soon or not don't get yo hopes up n---a just be excited but enjoy it," he tweeted.
