Wayne joins an expanding hip-hop and urban roster that includes Future, SZA and KhelaniRapper Lil Wayne has left ICM to sign with Creative Artist Agency for exclusive representation, Billboard has learned.
The New Orleans rapper makes the move to CAA, solidifying the agency's growing hip-hop roster. Last month agents Caroline Yim and Zach Iser joined the company and brought a number of clients with them including SZA, Future and Kehlani.
Lil Wayne has a busy summer, performing at this weekend's High Times Cannabis Cup Central Valley in Sacramento, as well as the Kentucky Derby Soundstage (May 3), Rolling Loud Festival in Miami (May 11-13), Hot 97 Summer Jam in New York (June 10), the Lil' WeezyAna Fest in New Orleans (Aug 25) and Bumbershoot Festival in Seattle over Labor Day weekend.
Wayne has three No. 1 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, and 137 songs to chart on the Hot 100. Wayne's three biggest albums, Tha Carter III, Tha Carter IV and I'm Not A Human Being all hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
