Earlier this week, the "Woman" singer said she was “heartbroken” to announce the news, but promised new dates for the delayed shows, as well as an unaffected schedule for her upcoming summer tour with Macklemore. She will undergo required knee surgery for the injury in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, the singer gave fans what they can look forward to as she recovers. She posted a live version of “Praying,” the tear-jerking ballad that details her healing process after a lengthy and emotional legal battle with former producer Dr. Luke, who she says sexually and emotionally abused her. She also performed an incredibly emotional rendition of the song at the Grammy Awards in January, which was especially timely as the red carpet and the show’s acceptance speeches were centered around the Time’s Up movement.
Along with “Praying,” the singer posted a live version of the much more upbeat Kesha classic “We R Who We R,” one of her earliest breakout songs from 2010.
Kesha wrote on Instagram Tuesday (Feb. 20), that she had no choice but to postpone the tour: "Moving these dates is making me sick with sadness, but I tried to will this injury away and unfortunately it didn't work." She encouraged fans to keep their tickets and look for coming updates on the new schedule in a press release.
