
On Jan. 15, The Cranberries’ music garnered 8.7 million total on-demand U.S. streams (audio and video combined), according to Nielsen Music, a 2,934 percent increase from the day before (Jan. 14).
Breaking that down, 3 million of that total were audio streams, a 1,805 percent increase from the day before; 5.7 million of that total were video streams, a 4,309 percent increase.The Cranberries’ top five streaming songs (audio and video combined) on Jan. 15 following O’Riordan’s death were: “Zombie” (2 million), “Linger” (1.6 million), “Dreams” (1.3 million), “Ode to My Family” (554,000), and “When You’re Gone” (432,000).
On Tuesday, Billboard reported that The Cranberries’ top five selling songs on Jan. 15 were: “Linger” (10,000), “Zombie” (9,000), “Dreams” (8,000), “Ode to My Family” (2,000) and “When You’re Gone” (1,000).
